Jennifer Hough accused Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, of a rape in 1994. She filed charges against him last year for “infliction of emotional distress, harassment and witness intimidation.” Now, Petty must “participate in mediation” with Hough, as of December 6.
The mediation will be remote, and it must occur sometime between December 20 and March 20. A joint status report will be filed by March 20 as well! Hough argues the couple wanted to silence her regarding the rape accusations. Though she had originally pressed charges on them both, she has since dropped the charges against Minaj. “Kenneth Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995. He served more than four years in prison.” He also “guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in 2021. A judge sentenced him to one year of home confinement and three years of probation in July.”
