The website features a message letting viewers know what they want to accomplish with ‘pgLang’. The site states: “focused on using our experiences, and nurturing our many collaborators, to build stories that are equally accessible and engaging then fitting them within the best media.” The “pgLang” website also features a visual mission statement that features multiple stars. Hip hop artist Baby Keem, grown-ish actor Yara Shahidi, international singer Jorja Smith, Dave Free and Kendrick Lamar.

“pgLang” does not appear to be a new album or any new music from Kendrick Lamar but it is great to see him active. The Pulitzer Prize award winner has not released a project since “The Black Panther” movie soundtrack in 2018. We have not received a solo project from Kung Fu Kenny since “DAMN” in 2017.

Rolling Stone was able to depict the full mission statement from the “pgLang” website:

“pgLang is multilingual. Our community speaks music, film, television, art, books, and podcasts — bescause sometimes we have to use different languages to get the point of our stories across. Stories that speak to many nations, many races, and many ages. That is why our writers, singers, directors, musicians, and producers break formats when we build ideas and make them real for the curious.

Putting round pegs through square holes is not a process, but we embrace the idea of anarchy and challenges that make us stronger. pgLang is focused on using our experiences, and nurturing our many collaborators, to build stories that are equally accessible and engaging then fitting them within the best media.”
