When debating over which year offered the best of cinematic magic, the 90s wins hands down. Movie fanatics were in for a treat when Vanity Fair decided to recreate all our Y2K favorite films and characters. Not only that, but they had some of today’s biggest stars help them revive the movie classics. Keke Palmer had been one of the many stars requested to join the fun shoot. Furthermore, Vanity Fair transformed the 27-year-old into none other than the iconic Legally Blonde character Elle Woods. Let’s just say, Keke palmer slayed the photoshoot.
Keke Palmer Is Elle Woods
Of course, no one can out star Reese Witherspoon’s Elle Woods. Though, Keke Palmer’s transformation might give the actress a run for her money. Recently, Vanity Fair asked Palmer and a handful of today’s young stars to star in their September “Party Like It’s 1999” issue. Furthermore, the publication seeks to provide a fresh take on iconic films and characters that still influence pop culture today. Palmer, who stars as Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods, recreated the iconic all-pink ensemble Reese Witherspoon once wore in the film.
Palmer slayed in a bright pink Rodarte top and skirt. Additionally, she wore shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti, a belt by Chanel and earrings by Mateo. To complete the look, she donned a Valentino Garavani bag and rings by Chopard and Tiffany & Co. The Pimp star looked every bit of the iconic Elle Woods from the photoshoot.
Other Stars Who Joined Vanity Fair’s Photo Shoot
It’ll be pretty hard to out beat Palmer’s Elle Woods transformation. Though, some of the young stars that joined the Vanity Fair photoshoot offered some great competition. The other stars that’ll be featured in the September issue are Addison Rae who stars as Betty from Mulholland Dr. and Patrick Schwarzenegger as Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. Even former Fifth Harmony’s Normani was transformed into Satine from Moulin Rouge! and Sydney Sweeney. The remaining stars Madelaine Petsch, Olivia Holt and Cailee Spaeny as “The Lisbon Sisters” recreated The Virgin Suicides. Be sure to check out the issue this fall.
