Kanye is all aboard his peace treaty train, on a mission to pick fellow artists up along the way that he offended. Everyone knows Kanye to be a loud mouth combustion of brilliance.
Though his offensive rants leaves audiences piqued, he somehow subsequently backs it up to get into good graces again. Ye’s rants are passionate and meaningful in his hindsight; however, his liberty tends to offend industry folks. He offends his fans and social media onlookers, too. Obviously, Kanye is feeling some kind of way after a summer of episodes.
He wants to make amends with fellow rappers like Drake and Soulja Boy. Sources recently reported Kanye’s will to cool waters with Drake, well at least to do a benefit concert for the freeing of Larry Hoover Sr.
Drake vs. Kanye
Since Drake’s breakout in 2009, Kanye and and the Certified Lover Boy’s slippery slope on frenemy mountain is a more than decade long feud. Kanye’s 10th studio album, Donda, is a culprit of the beef with folks like Soulja Boy and Drake. Drama ensued after Kanye constantly delayed his album release amid Drake’s album release, according to The Ringer. The two exchanged cryptic social media disses until the two just decided to leave the beef be, as they usually do.
Ye vs. Soulja Boy
Soulja is not the silent type when it comes to his time and his money. His feature on Ye’s Donda, respectfully placed the Good Life artist on his public sh*t list. According to HipHopDx, Kanye is remorseful as he asks for Soulja’s forgiveness. Wednesday, Nov. 10, Ye took the time to apologize to Big Draco for not telling him about excluding him from the album.
He shared a heartwarming apology via text message to the Crank That rapper.
“Yo it’s Ye. Love you bro. I should have told you I wasn’t going to use the verse.”
Soulja surprisingly responds, “Love you too, bro. That’s all I wanted.”
