In typical Kanye fashion, the self-proclaimed “Saint Pablo” has again used his platform on tour to rant about people in this industry. But this time, he isn’t throwing jabs; he’s showing support.
Billboard recently announced that Frank Ocean’s 2016 albums Blonde and Endless would be ineligible for the 2017 Grammys because his camp failed to submit the works by the submission deadline. Following this news, West vows to miss the award show, telling his Oakland concert-goers “The album I listened to the most this year is Frank Ocean’s album. And I’ll tell you this right now: if his album’s not nominated in no categories, I’m not showing up to the Grammys.”
The rapper further declares “As artists, we gotta come together to fight the bullshit they been throwing us with.”
