Kanye Earns “Collab King” Title In 2018

Kanye West has returned to the world of Hip-hop in a big way.

Following his hiatus from music, Kanye came back strong producing albums for Nas, Pusha-T, Teyana Taylor, his own project, along with a collaboration album with Kid Cudi.

The Chicago rapper has also confirmed via social media that “Watch Da Throne 2” is on the way. Speculating that possibly he and longtime mentor Jay-Z has resolved their fallout. In addition, it has been confirmed that he will be the Creative Director for Porn Hub. Mr. West continues to evolve and is in the process of restoring his influence on the culture.

We cannot overlook the statements made about slavery is a choice or him trying to rectify Trump’s outspoken views of how racism works. In no way shape or form should we let Kanye get a pass on his behavior, but acknowledge that Kanye’s trying to move on from his political debacle.

However, Kanye has taken the time to make himself relevant again in the music space by working with some of today’s popular rappers. Just last week Kanye and Lil Pump released a video for the hit single “I Love It”. Gaining plenty of attention, and making him somewhat an image of the “Old Kanye” we loved and remember from “Late Registration”.

Mr. West has dropped pictures leading everyone to believe that his and “The King Of New York” Tekashi 6ix9ine are in the studio cooking up some hits. This comes as no surprise, as the two artists are known for controversy, and always have an opinion about something. We applaud Kanye’s efforts and look forward to more collaborations further down the line.
