Kansas Sensation MandieX Announces Debut Album ‘YKTV’

A new star from the country backroads arrives at the top of 2022 to take over the charts.

MandieX is an emerging artist from Kansas with a vibrant yet eccentric and joyful country-pop sound that delivers a dynamic blend of harmonization and trendy dance production in the modern pop era. As her current string of hits such as “Energy,” “Control,” “Arrive” and the latest single “Swoon” move around social media, she announces the arrival of her debut album YKTV, which drops next week.

Since 2021, MandieX’s appeal radiates a glow that expresses a young, wild, and free-spirited style alongside versatile artistry with success in a wide range of genres, including synth-pop, electro R&B, and even country-pop. With the magnetic ability to draw attention from multiple audiences, MandieX uses her creativity, colorful vocals and electrifying delivery to bring tracks to life.

“I’ve been singing my whole life,” she says in a press release. “From karaoke nights with my family to landing the lead roles in my high school musicals. Music and being on stage has always been something I was passionate about. Who I am today – MandieX – all began with an app called Rapchat. I downloaded Rapchat and grew my following to over 170K in less than a year and started building a fanbase from there. This is when my mindset shifted from music being just a hobby to it being a successful career.”

MandieX opened up for Blueface at CoughFest 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK – one of her biggest accomplishments thus far. And with inspirations like Miley Cyrus and Doja Cat, her upcoming album gives off those “f**k you, I’m over you, I’m doin’ me” type vibes. She hopes that someone going through a breakup can play her album and feel better, more confident, ready to go conquer the world.

The album, titled YKTV, will release Tuesday, February 22 via own imprint. The YKTV (You Know the Vibes) song list can be found here. For more on MandieX and new music, visit her website, and make sure to follow her on Instagram and on Rapchat.
