Jenelle Evans got the boot from Teen Mom 2 earlier this week.
A spokesperson for MTV released a statement addressing the network’s decision.
“We have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
Evans was allegedly fired from the show, after an incident between her husband, David Eason and their family’s pet occurred. Last week, Eason was accused of shooting and killing Nugget, a French Bulldog, for allegedly biting at their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley. Although their were no bite marks on the child, it’s said that Eason violently beat the dog, before taking it to the woods were the fatal shot was fired.
As a result, MTV no longer wants a relationship with the family. They fear that the recent events all bring too much negative attention, and quite frankly, they don’t want to be anywhere near Evans or Eason when things hit the fan. Before firing Evans, they had already severed their contract with Eason in February 2018. They claim his homophobic comments were enough.
Teen Mom 2 filmed their last episode with Jenelle on April 6. They have no plans to bring her character back in the next season.
