Jay-Z has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that his documentary series on Trayvon Martin doesn’t fall on deaf ears. The businessman and rapper recently did an interview with The New York Times to bring more awareness to the documentary.
One of the main takeaways was to addressing the killings that have taken place over the years. Overall Jay-Z is looking for the six-part series to bring about awareness and for laws to be changed.
The documentary series premiered this Monday, on Bet, and will continue for the remainder of the series Monday nights at 9 pm Eastern.
