Jadakiss Dropped his fifth studio album Titled “Ignatius.”
Hip-Hop legend Jadakiss gave his fans a treat Friday when he finally dropped his Album “Ignatius.” The Album is the yonkers native fifth studio album and first solo project since “Top 5 Dead or Alive” from 2015.
With singles like “Kisses to the sky” and “Me,” fans have been anticipating this project for some time now. Visuals for “Kisses to the sky” dropped in January, but now fans have the whole album to enjoy.
Ignatius includes features from some heavy hitters in the rap game. Pusha T, Rick Ross, 2chainz, Ty Dolla Sign, and John Legend all have features on the project.
Jada hasn’t put out any music since his Joint album with Fabolous “Friday on Elm Street” came out in 2017. The Lox rapper has over 20 years in the rap game and has solidified himself as one of the top lyricists of all-time.
Ironically Ignatius, which is dedicated to Kiss’s late friend “Jay “Icepick” Jackson, was held back a week after the death of Pop Smoke.
“We held back to pay respect to Pop Smoke. It just didn’t seem like the right time to release the song or the visual or the project, so we just pulled it back for a week… We’re going to keep it rolling, but just paying some homage and respect with everything that’s going on right now.”
