    J. Cole Signs Atlanta Rapper J.I.D. To Dreamville

    Already equipped with artists such as Bas, Ari Lennox, and – of course – its founder J. Cole, Dreamville Records has just added a new member to its roster: J.I.D of Spillage Village.

    On Sunday evening, a two-minute video surface on Dreamville’s official YouTube channel that featured the East Atlanta rapper alongside J. Cole riding around in his ramshackled Pontiac that has followed him through his ups and downs. “It’s been through every phase of my life, since I got kicked out of college to pursuing rap and shit,” he says. “I’mma keep it ’til it stops pushing. I’mma push this shit until I get a Maybach.”

    The video description announces not only J.I.D.’s newfound deal with Dreamville but also a soon coming project entitled “The Never Story” which will likely include his track “Never” which he shared on YouTube following
