For the past week, there’s been confusion on if Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is truly retiring or not. After 22 seasons, many find it hard to believe that he would continue to play and put himself through the physical punishment. However, we’ve seen stranger things happen in the past.
Brady is widely considered the greatest quarterback in NFL history. After suffering the heartbreak loss to the Los Angeles Rams within the last seconds of the game, he walked off the field and rumors began spewing around the league. Several reliable sources stated the end was nearing and out of nowhere BOOM! A notification came running across everyone’s phones, televisions, and radios that Brady had officially retired. Some laughed, some cried, some celebrated, and some took a moment to digest the information. The point is, that it was a monumental deal to the sports world.

According to several sources, shortly after many were in disgust or felt betrayed by the media. Brady has yet to speak; however, several close sources indicate that these are fallacies and poor reporting. Tom Brady’s legacy lives forever
All in all, if Brady does retire,he’d go out on top as the greatest to ever do it. He’s the most decorated football player ever and only continues to break even more records the longer he plays. He has absolutely nothing to play for or chase any longer and for that fans across the world are thankful to have witnessed greatness. Brady’s legacy is too strong to ever disappear or fade, yet, the game will never be the same without him.
The league remains in good hands with all these young talented quarterbacks holding football on their shoulders. The league is getting younger and the talent is evolving which is only good for the sport.
Brady has just joined a shortlist of stars and icons who seemingly also retired this season. New Orleans Saints Sean Payton, and Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger.
