He later seized the New England Patriots quarterback position from veteran Cam Newton. Throughout the course of the season. Jones skillfully guided the Patriots to a well deserved spot in the playoffs. Boasting an impressive record of 10 wins and 7 losses. His exceptional performance included throwing a remarkable 22 touchdowns accumulating a hefty 3,801 passing yards and completing an impressive 67.7% of his passes. It is undeniable that Jones played a pivotal role in assisting Patriots head coach Bill Belichick in revitalizing the team. According to PFF, Jones was part of the best rookie class in the NFL. Mac Jones also made an All-Rookie team alongside teammate Christian Barmore. Despite their disappointing playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round, the Pro Bowl will offer Patriots fans a final opportunity to watch their new quarterback in action and find something to cheer about.
