As of late, Ice Spice has been making major headlines after dropping her debut EP Like . . . ? It’s only been a few months since the drill rapper hopped on the scene. Nowadays, she’s dominating the music charts.
Despite her early success, Ice Spice has run into a bit of controversy with some of her tracks. On her latest song “In Ha Mood,” some have speculated that she threw shade in Chance The Rapper’s direction. Though, Ice Spice promises she’s not dissing the Chicago native.
Ice Spice’s “In Ha Mood” Track Stirs Up Controversy
Since dropping her newest record, Ice Spice has been making waves. Though, not necessarily in a good way. As mentioned before, the New York drill rapper dropped her recent single “In Ha Mood” and it has drawn tons of speculation. For instance, many have asked if Ice Spice dissed Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper. Even the philanthropist himself was eager to know whether or not she threw shade his way. The particular lyric, “He a rapper, but don’t got a chance,” has really started making the rounds.
Did Ice Spice Diss Chance The Rapper?
Ice Spice caught word of Chance’s comment and took to Instagram to assure him that the lyric wasn’t about him at all. The “Munch” rapper simply wrote in response “Never” with a laughing emoji. Moreover, Chance The rapper responded by noting that he was just making sure there’s no misunderstanding.
Fortunately, the drill rapper didn’t find herself in another feuding match. In the past, she’s been accused of allegedly dissing several rap stars including her arch nemesis Latto. Ice Spice might want to watch herself.
