The Trap God first signed to Atlantic Records in 2007 but has continuously had problems with the label. The label dropped Gucci Mane as an artist in 2013 because of his public insults on Twitter. It wasn’t until 2016 that the “East Atlanta Santa” rapper apologized and was resigned.
