Rapper G Herbo officially begins his “Swervo” Tour on Oct. 16 in Detroit, Michigan with special guests Southside and Queen Key.
G Herbo recently dropped his Swervo album with producer Southside in July before announcing his 29-city tour across the country. Over a course of month and a half, Herbo will travel to Philadelphia, DC, New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, and Seattle just to name a few.
Born Herbert Wright III, Herbo was born on Oct. 8, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. Formerly known as the stage name Lil Herb, he dropped his mixtape Fazoland in 2014. He also dropped another project in 2014 called, Pistol P Project, after collaborating with prominent artists like Nicki Minaj, Common, and Chance The Rapper.
In 2015, Lil Herb dropped his third mixtape, Ballin Like Kobe, and released his debut studio album Humble Beast in 2016. Once Lil Herb signed to Cinematic Music Group in September 2015, he officially changed his rap name to G Herbo. Shortly after, he released cover art and singles from his fourth mixtape Strictly 4 My Fans.
G Herbo recently appeared in BET’s Hip-Hop Awards 2018 cypher, where he rapped alongside Vic Mensa, Taylor Benett, and Nick Grant.
The Swervo Tour stops in Philly on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Theatre of Living Arts. Tickets are on sale now here.
