Loosing a family member is never easy, especially when it comes to mourning the death of a child. Recently, rapper Fetty Wap and his ex-girlfriend Turquoise Miami’s lost their daughter, Lauren Maxwell. So far, the ex-couple have managed to keep their 4-year-old out of the spotlight. Though, Fetty Wap’s ex-girlfriend shared a tribute to their daughter. Furthermore, the rapper has since commemorated their daughter during a live performance.
Fetty Wap’s Ex Honors Their Daughter’s Memory
Last month, Fetty Wap and his ex-girlfriend Turquoise Miami’s daughter, Lauren passed away. The ex-couple didn’t share news of their 4-year-old’s death until August 1, 2021. In particular, Miami took to Instagram to make a heartwarming tribute to their daughter. “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius. If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself “ i love you LAUREN ”because they say that souls can feel your love #rip,” Miami wrote in the captions.
Sources don’t know her cause of death yet. Though, Hot97 did report that Maxwell had been terminally sick for a while. Worst, the ex-couple received plenty of backlash over her daughter’s death. Previously, Miami took to Instagram to address the heavy multitude of hatred she received from internet trolls and defended her family. Furthermore, the rapper told fans that “Lauren loves her daddy too, just like she loved me. He mourns hard just like me.” Like any family, Fetty Wap and his ex deserve the peace they need to grieve over their loss.
Fetty Wap Remembers His Daughter During Live Performance
In the wake of his child’s death, Fetty Wap received major backlash not grieving properly. When fans didn’t notice the rapper share a tribute about their daughter, alongside his ex’s post, they immediately assumed the worst. Though, Fetty Wap did in fact commemorate his daughter’s memory during his performance at Rolling Loud Miami’s lineup. Additionally, he posted an Instagram story about his 4-year-old. “LoLo daddy did that s–t for you last night baby girl,” Wap wrote in the captions. We can only imagine what the rapper and his ex are feeling over the loss of their child.
