Felicity Huffman is lucky as hell to have light sentencing.
Huffman, known for her prized role on “Desperate Housewives,” will only be serving 14 days in the slammer after cheating her daughter’s way into college. Felicity is just of many rich parents who participated in rigging the system to get their “not-so-smart” children into the universities of their choice.
But knowing light of a sentencing Felicity has been served, it’s likely no one will fear the wrath of the judge moving forward. Next up, Lori Loughlin!
Felicity’s punishment is basically a slap on the wrist. At first, prosecutors were seeking the harshest of punishments but had their efforts stepped on. In the beginning, there was talk that Felicity and the other culprits would be staring at years in prison, and possibly even decades, reports TMZ.
However, the judge assigned to FH’s case doesn’t believe she did anything THAT bad. In hindsight, he doesn’t think you can break something that’s already been broken.
Prison Conditions
So 14 days it is, and it should begin somewhere around October 25. Felicity has put in a request to do her time at FCI Dublin, a low-security prison in California.
There, she’ll have it like every other inmate. Her day will start with a mandatory bed check at 6:30 AM, lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the option to sunbathe from 4 PM until 8:30 PM.
Pretty easy to get done in two weeks…that is…mind the prison food and cheap orange jumpsuit.
Any thoughts? Do you think the judge took it too easy on Felicity Huffman with the light sentence? If so, what she should she really have gotten? Do you think Lori Loughlin will be as fortunate? Let us know what’s on your mind by leaving a comment in the comment section below.
