Rubi Rose and DDG are embroiled in a heated argument on Twitter. The 2021 XXL Freshmen Class members are trading insults after rumors circulated that rapper Darryl “DDG” Granberry and Halle Bailey had called off their relationship. Fans speculate that Halle Bailey and the rapper may breakup after this. And right before Valentine’s Day?
DDG has denied the reports, calling the internet “gullible.” But now, his ex-girlfriend, Rubi Rose, is in the mix of the drama and sharing alleged DMs from DDG while he was in Los Angeles trying to patch things up with Halle Bailey.
The Drama
The DDG Rubi Rose Drama sparked up when the model/rapper caused a stir on Twitter. She shared a direct message from DDG asking her if she was still in Los Angeles. She also shared screenshots of a conversation with DDG where he asked her if she was going to Yung Miami’s birthday party.
She also tweeted about DDG allegedly passing her old T-shirt to his new girl. After Rose threw shade at her ex, the two ended up in an argument on Twitter that went viral.
In the end, DDG responded to Rose on Twitter, claiming she was unfavorable and denied his sexual advances. However, Rose took it further and shared screenshots of alleged DMs with DDG asking her to meet up. She then added a cryptic caption, “this is why I’m single.” Rubi Rose has been put in her place by now and will not be involved in any more shady activity with DDG.
DDG’s sister, @ms_tawanna on Instagram, has jumped in to support Rubi Rose and urged fans not to feed into the lies. She added, “Please be done with this man for good.” See what else they have to say in the video below.
The fans aren’t pleased about the situation, and they’ve thrown their support behind Bailey. They have also shared comments that say they hope the pair get back together as soon as possible.
Before this, Rubi Rose recently shaded Halle Bailey on her IG account for wearing a shirt she thought her boyfriend, DDG, gave her. She called her a “weirdo” and Halle a “hood ******.”
After the whole DDG Rubi Rose Drama on Twitter the rapper was able to shut down the rumors with a series of tweets that were aimed at his ex-girlfriend and clarified the situation. He also urged his fans not to take his tweets too seriously.
