Epic Games is at it again. They’re being sued by Alfonso Ribeiro for ripping off his famous dance move used on The Fresh Prince.
Ribeiro is suing the company for identical dance moves used in their Fortnite. Ribeiro is famous for the “Carlton dance,” a dance in which he swings his arms back and forth, followed by footwork. His character, Carlton Banks, did the dance frequently on The Fresh Prince, where he starred next to Will Smith.
Ribeiro is the latest celebrity to file suit against Epic Games for stealing popular dance moves. Earlier this month, 2 Milly filed suit against Epic Games for using his “milly rock” for game players.
Alfonso’s attorney says that it is no coincidence of the similarity of dance moves.
Ribeiro is also filing a suit against 2k Games. The popular company that makes NBA 2k, is supposedly guilty of doing the same as Fortnite.
