Empire’s Jussie Smollett Rejected Extra Security Before He Was Beaten & Noosed

He didn’t want the extra intrusion? Yea, something is not adding up.

As we reported, Empire star Jussie Smollet was beaten and placed in a noose in Chicago by disgusting MAGA supporters. According to sources, he went out for a late food run where he encountered two men wearing masks on the Subway.

The alleged attackers then screamed:

“Aren’t you that fa**ot “Empire” n****?”

They then attacked him by fracturing his rib. They also drenched him in bleach and placed a rope around his neck. Before they left they exclaimed, “this is MAGA country.” Since the attack, Smollett took himself to the hospital and has been discharged.

But here is where the story gets sketchy.

Prior to the attack, Fox Studios in Chicago received a threatening homophobic letter that was addressed to Smollett. The letter was sent approximately 8 days prior. According to TMZ, Fox increased its security for the entire cast. According to these same sources, they offered Smollett off the clock security to protect him. But, he allegedly turned down the offer.

But, does that mean he should have been brutally beaten and noosed by Trump supporters? No! But, if you ask me, this story seems too sketchy. Fox Studios in Chicago should get to the bottom of this immediately. Currently, police are still investigating the matter.
