    Eminem‘s stunt double, Ryan Shepard, has died at the age of 40 after being hit by a truck. According to TMZ, the stuntman was killed on January 31st, struck by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Washington state.

    Shepard was best known for working with Em in the early 2000s, where he played the Lose Yourself rapper’s superhero character Rap Boy at the MTV Movie Awards in 2002 and toured Europe and Japan with Em during his Anger Management Tour that year. He also appeared as Em’s clone in D12’s Purple Hills music video.

    Shepard left his career in music to pursue his passion in the tech industry, where he worked for Disney as a ride mechanical engineer and eventually moved on to SpaceX as a test automation engineer. He is survived by his two children, a seven-year-old and an 11-year-old.
