Dwyane Wade is preparing to make his final jumpsuit.
The basketball player, for the Miami Heat, sat down for an interview, as he talked about his upcoming last game. He was joined by his wife, Gabrielle Union. During the interview, which was with Complex, Wade is very reminiscent of his career on the paint.
“Whether it’s my last game in Chicago or whether it’s playing LeBron [James] the last time in the Staples Center. Or whether it’s going to Marquette to have a Dwyane Wade Day. Or playing in the Garden. It’s so many moments that’s just been so dope and so cool. And I know my last game in Miami is gonna be emotional and all those things. And my last game period. I’ve been preparing for it. I’m as ready as I can be for it. But I still want to be able to play well. I still want to continue to have those moments where I have those flashbacks.”
Wade’s final game will take place at the Barclays Center, in New York. And though he doesn’t have much set-up for post-retirement, he’s anxious to see all the many new things he’ll be able to explore.
When Wade steps onto the court to play the New York Knicks, it’ll mark his 16th and final season. His first game was in 2003, with the Miami Heat.
