It seems as though the Ny rapper Nicki Minaj has been finessed by a party in the Far East. The rap icon flew for 10 hours to perform for a showcase that wasn’t authorized in the first place.

According to Buzz Feed News, the Young Money rapper was allegedly contracted to perform at the know Djakarta Warehouse Project festival on November 18th. The series originated in Bali, Indonesia, and then migrated to the China edition. The creators of DWP festival denied the event on their website.

“The event rumored to take place in Shanghai on 17th & 18th of November 2018 is an unauthorized use of DWP trademark. DWP as a brand, has no association with the event.”

Nicki was considered classy despite the circumstance, as she did not put the alleged promoter on blast. She did release a statement to acknowledge to the fans that she is more than willing to return and actually perform.
