A Northern Ireland man has been charged with Manslaughter after police found 39 Bodies in his Truck!!
Maurice Robinson, the truck driver containing 39 dead bodies, has been charged. The refrigerated truck was stopped in southeastern England. Another man from Northern Ireland was arrested at Dublin airport, leading to Robinson’s arrest.
Robinson is charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to traffic people, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration, and money laundering. Three others were arrested but later released in connection with the deaths.
Firstly, investigators believed that the victims were Chinese. However many Vietnamese families have come forward expressing concerns for their loved ones. For example, the family of Vietnam born 26-year old Pham Thi Tra My received a message that said her trip to the UK didn’t go well.

Allegedly some of the victims paid thousands of dollars to get to the UK for opportunities.
Even more, this truck is suspected to be one of three that contained at least 100 people. No word on if authorities have been able to locate the other trucks.
Since the news broke about the 39 bodies many people have expressed their condolences including the prime minister.
In the book condolences, prime minster johnson wrote.”The entire nation, and even the world, was shocked by this tragic event and the cruelty of fate faced by innocent people seeking a better life in this country.”
The families of the 31 men and 8 women will have to wait sometime for the closure. As the police department has quite a task on hand to get DNA evidence back on everyone involved.
