Relationships often run a muck in Hollywood. Even some of the biggest power couples in the industry burn out eventually. Some Hollywood couples are just destined to fail, though. Last month, Kim Kardashian filed a divorce from Kanye West. Honestly, no one thought the marriage would last long. Even rap star Drake hoped for the eventual end of their marriage as well.
Drake’s newest single off his Scary Hours 2 EP stirred up some major controversy for the rapper. In particular, the song refueled old affair rumors between Drake and Kim K. once again. Fans now suspect there’s truth to the rumors after all.
The West’s File For Divorce
Kanye West has had difficulty coping with the divorce from his wife Kim Kardashian. The tv personality filed for divorce from the rapper back in February of this year. Sources note that Kanye’s political antics and his mental breakdowns finally led Kim K. to finally call it quits. The affair rumors surrounding Kardashian and Drake, especially, didn’t help mend their marriage. The two had been separate for months prior to Kim K. turning in her divorce paperwork. It had to hurt Kanye West when Kim K. kicked him out of their $60 million Calabasas mansion. The couple tried to make their marriage work, but their efforts failed.
Drake’s Song Refuels Affair Rumors
Kanye and Kim Kardashian’s marriage had it’s fair share of ups and downs. Additionally, it even experienced quite a few scandals as well. Throughout the course of their marriage, rumors of an affair started circulating about Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s arch nemesis Drake. Upon the release of his new track “Wants and Needs”, Drake seemingly refueled those old affair rumors. Now fans believe the rumors are true.
Fans in particular, found one lyric quite telling of him and Kim K’s alleged affair. “Yeah, I probably should go link with Yeezy, I need me some Jesus / But soon as I started confessin’ my sins, he wouldn’t believe us.” While the lyric doesn’t necessarily spell out the reality star’s name, it didn’t stop fans from assuming the worst.
Keep in mind that this isn’t Drake’s first time hinting at a possible hookup with Kim Kardashian in a song. In his 2018 track “In My Feelings,” the rapper constantly asks “Kiki, do you love me?.” Fans speculate that the line comes as a direct reference to Kim K.’s nickname, Kiki. Once again, Drake refuels affair rumors between him and Kim K.
