It seemed a dream come true for the New York drill rapper, Ice Spice to be in the same room as Drake. Obviously, Drizzy fans would love that chance encounter! Drake himself even personally DM’ed Ice Spice to tell her that he loved her hit single “Munch (Feelin’ U).” However, Drake has some wondering if he was really a fan of Ice Spice’s rap skills to begin with after his latest post.
Is Drake Really A Fan Of Ice Spice?
Rappers usually go toe-to-toe with each other in person, during a social media feud or a diss track. At first, Drake seemed like a huge fan of Detroit rapper Ice Spice. However, his feelings about the drill rapper have since changed after releasing his recent diss track Her Loss on “BackOutsideBoyz” alongside 21 Savage. Furthermore, Drizzy rapped with full bravado that “She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah.” Many have speculated that the lyric in question drew a direct reference to Ice Spice.
Lately, Drake has been picking fights with some of the biggest female rappers in the industry. Recently, he had a social media showdown with Megan Thee Stallion after accusing her of faking her foot injury the night Tory Lanez shot her. Now he’s criticizing Ice Spice’s rap skills. It’s arguably unusual behavior from the rapper, especially since he’s supported several female rappers before. What’s up Drake?
Ice Spice Brushes Off His Comment
Drake may have taken a dig at the Bronx rapper, but she wasn’t phased one bit by his diss! In fact, Ice Spice confirmed that the diss lyric was directed at her after tweeting, “At least I’m a 10.” Drake only made matters worse after he allegedly stopped following Ice Spice. Drake may not be a real fan but Ice Spice doesn’t care either way!
