Once again, Donald Trump speaks out upon his “beliefs.”
Trump makes that statement while speaking to the press in the Oval Office about two Democratic congresswomen who could not get into Israel.
This is over their involvement in the movement to end international support for the country because of its policies toward Palestinians, CNN reports.
“Five years ago, the concept of even talking about this — even three years ago — of cutting off aid to Israel because of two people that hate Israel and hate Jewish people — I can’t believe we’re even having this conversation,” Trump added. “Where has the Democratic Party gone? Where have they gone where they’re defending these two people over the State of Israel?” He added, “I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.”
Trump was not specific about what he considered to be Jews’ disloyalty.
But to many, it appears his language was reminiscent of the anti-Semitic smear that Jews have “dual loyalty.”
And are more devoted to Israel than they are to their own countries, according to The Hollywood Unlocked.
Now, Donald Trump is under fire for what he said don’t get that wrong!
Presidential candidate Joe Biden speaks out on Trump’s latest remarks and said,
“Mr. President, these comments are insulting and inexcusable—just like your previous dual loyalty insinuations. Stop dividing Americans and disparaging your fellow citizens. It may not be beneath you, but it is beneath the office you hold.”
