Donald Trump Jr. Defends Mario Lopez Over Transgender Remarks… Is anyone shocked?
Mario Lopez is under fire for his controversial comments about parents raising transgender children.
Lopez said while on the podcast:
“Look, I’m never one to tell anyone how to parent their kids obviously and I think if you come from a place of love, you really can’t go wrong. But at the same time, my God, if you’re 3 years old and you’re saying you’re feeling a certain way or you think you’re a boy or a girl or whatever the case may be, I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make this determination then, well, okay, then you’re going to a boy or a girl, whatever the case may be … It’s sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on.”
Many people found his remarks to be offensive and Lopez later released a statement apologizing to those he offended.
However, Donald Trump Jr, came out in support of the beloved actor. He feels that Mario Lopez shouldn’t have apologized for anything.
‘I literally can’t see anything wrong with what Mario Lopez said here that would cause the Outrage Mob try to destroy him,’ Don Jr wrote on Twitter. ‘He was as reasonable and accepting as anyone could be but because he may have had doubts about letting a 3 Year Old make a permanent decision hes killed? (sic).’

Lopez was absent from Wednesday’s taping of Extra.
His fellow hosts Renee Bargh and Tanika Ray addressed the controversy while on Extra.
Can you say awkward? LOL
I see nothing wrong with what Mario Lopez said. He had an opinion and he stated it. Our world is too sensitive. Point blank.
