Donald Glover Gripes about Cancel Culture
He took to Twitter to chime in on the discussion:
“Saw people on here havin a discussion about how tired they were of reviewing boring stuff (tv & film),” he began. “we’re getting boring stuff and not even experimental mistakes(?) because people are afraid of getting cancelled.”
Moreover, Donald Glover argued that a great deal of content in the entertainment industry is boring. This is the worst thing that could have happened to the industry right now.
He continued, “So they feel like they can only experiment w/ aesthetic. (also because some of em know they’re not that good).”
As the COVID-19 pandemic had a handle on Hollywood beginning to loosen, the Grammy-winning creative is getting back to work. I’m addition, Glover announced that shooting for the long-awaited Season 3 of Atlanta is underway. He even teased a premiere at the top of 2022, but has no idea when his final album is dropping.
The Rapper, Actor Faces Lawsuit
With sunshine, a dark cloud is always somewhere near. Recently, Donald Glover and even Young Thug were hit with a lawsuit over his Record of the Year-winning “This Is America.”
A rapper named Emelike Nwosuocha who rhymes under the alias of Kidd Wes sued Glover claiming he ripped off his 2016 track titled “Made In America.”
The rapper is silent on the matter and chose not to make a statement.
Although Glover is currently in some heat, he is sure to bless fans with his unduplicated talent.
