The race to the number 1 spot between rap’s finest women has a victor. Doja Cat’s smash hit single “Say So” Remix featuring fellow rapper Nicki Minaj has jumped from No. 6 to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 List. “Say So” is the first number 1 song for both Doja and Minaj. Nicki Minaj shatters the record for the longest wait for a first Hot 100 No. 1, by total career entries, as “Say So” is her 109th charted title on the tally according to Billboard.
It was a heated contest for the number 1 spot this time around. “Say So” Remix had tough competition from the “Savage” Remix by Megan Thee Stallion featuring pop megastar, Beyoncé. It’s a great sight to see young budding rap stars in Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion get the support from veteran and established music icons in Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé. “Savage” Remix also jumped from the fourth spot to the second spot on the Hot 100 list.
Congratulations to these 4 outstanding and talented women for creating history!
