Kimora Lee Simmons is having trouble with her baby father, Djimon Hounsou.
It turns out that she’s in a bit of a joint custody battle with Djimon Hounsou. Djimon is Kimora Simons’ ex-boo, and together they have one son.
Page Six reports that Djimon is seeking joint custody of their 10-year-old son Kenzo. However, Djimon is also up to something else. Sources close to Simons say that Djimon wants to take Kenzo on a lengthy trip to the motherland, but supposedly never gave a return date.
It’s said that he asked Russell Simons for permission to take the child to Africa but refused to sign an agreement saying he’d return to the states. Simons fears that Djimon wants to take Kenzo to Africa with no intentions on coming back.
While out in LA, Kimora was served papers– aka– legal documents. The legal documents were from Djimon, who, as mentioned before, wants to seek joint custody.
There’s only one problem. Kimora and those close to her claim that Djimon is an absent father, and doesn’t deserve more than what he’s already allowed. Not to mention, he allegedly hasn’t even been paying his child support.
But there are always two sides to every story.
If you ask Djimon, he’ll say he only appears to be an absent father, because Kimora purposely keeps him away from his son. On Father’s Day, Djimon says that Kimora would not allow him to spend time with Kenzo.
For now, it looks like the end is nowhere in sight for these two parents who can’t get it together. They’ll have to continue slugging it out in court.
