On January 26th, 2020, the world lost one of its legends.
Kobe Bean Bryant, his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, and seven others passed away on that day in a horrible helicopter accident.
Investigation as to how the helicopter went down is still ongoing. Still, aviation experts and pilots have been saying that this is likely due to a combination of fog and mechanical problems. The visibility in the area was so weak that even the local police had to ground their aircraft before the crash.
Regardless of the reason, we are all in shock and deeply saddened by this accident. People all around the world are in disbelief. We are saying Rest In Peace Kobe Bryant.
The Black Mamba, as he nicknamed himself, was arguably one of the best basketball players ever to grace the court. From his deadly mid-range shooting to his deadly buzzer-beaters, he was a force that very few were able to stop.
As Kobe entered his retirement and the next stage in his life, he was focused primarily on his family. His daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, asleep known as Gigi, was sadly taken away from us with her father. Kobe always talked about how she was the one that was going to live up to his legacy.
A Los Angeles legend. A Philadelphia King. A world idol.
Kobe was nothing short of inspiration for millions of people, and as we mourn his death, it is vital we remember his life.
He was also able to create foundation called the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundationthat gives financial resources and developmental tools to families that are in need.
Kobe Bryant was a legend in more ways than one, and for that we thank you.
Rest In Peace, Kobe, Gianna, and the other seven people that died as well.
