Not too long ago fans rejoiced as the late New York rapper DMX revealed that he checked into rehab to help with his addiction.

    DMX Checks Into Rehab

DMX has been struggling with substance abuse and addiction for years, which is why his team recently revealed that he’s checked into rehab. He’s reportedly done so in order to prevent a relapse.

Since DMX’s release from prison in January, the rapper has been on a mission to get his life together. He’s made a comeback by re-signing with Def Jam and booking a series of concerts, including performances at Rolling Loud and SXSW as part of his 20th anniversary tour of It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot.

However, he’s never been one to shy away from the spotlight and in recent months has made headlines for his odd behavior and drug use. In fact, DMX has been arrested for several drug-related crimes and is currently facing multiple parole violations.

While this news is certainly a setback, it’s also a good sign that he’s taking his treatment seriously. As he says in his Instagram post, DMX has been “on a mission to put family and sobriety first,” which sounds like he’s finally taking the steps he needs to get back on track.

Hopefully, he’s able to make this a fairytale ending and help others in similar situations find sobriety in the process. Until then, we’ll continue to keep him in our prayers!

DMX Reveals He’s Checking Into Rehab

In a post on his Instagram, DMX has revealed that he’s checked into rehab for the second time. This comes after the rapper canceled several shows in 2018 and 2017 due to substance abuse issues.

In the announcement, DMX’s team also shared a photo of the rapper with a caption that read: ‘DMX putting family and sobriety first’. Several fans and fellow celebrities flocked to the post, sending messages of support.

Following his January prison release, where he served a one-year sentence for federal tax evasion, DMX leads a 32-date tour marking “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot” 20th anniversary.

However, after being released from prison, DMX has had to deal with some personal struggles. According to TMZ, the X Gon Give It to Ya rapper had a lot of stress and temptations to drink and drug.

He had a few relapses after his release. Thankfully, this time around, he’s checking into rehab for the second time so he can focus on his family and sobriety. Hopefully, he’ll be able to get the help he needs so he can continue to perform for his fans and focus on his health. Stay strong X, we love you!

DMX Says He’s Checking Into Rehab

Throughout his career, DMX has faced challenges with addiction and substance abuse. In 2017, he canceled three shows to check into rehab and then continued to work on his recovery by checking into a second treatment center while on house arrest for tax fraud charges.

This year, he has been working hard to get back on track, performing and even making high-profile interviews. His comeback tour is also featuring performances at major festivals like SXSW and Rolling Loud: Miami.

But it seems that his life has been testing him as of late. In the past week, DMX missed Def Jam’s 35th-anniversary party, and he was absent from both the Three 6 Mafia reunion concert in Memphis and the second day of Rolling Loud in New York on Sunday.

After the news came out, DMX’s fans quickly took to social media to demand that he release his latest album, Quaranta. Many even sent messages to Warp Records and manager Dart Parker requesting that they release the record.

The Detroit rapper says alcohol has fueled his words, and that’s why he’s checked himself into rehab. It’s a move that’s a reflection of the fact that he knows it can be difficult to stay sober when it comes to drugs and alcohol.
