DaBaby Hit With $2 Million Lawsuit Over Alleged Beverly Hills Altercation With Hotel Employee

Almost a year after footage of DaBaby roughing up an employee at a Beverly Hills hotel surfaced, the guy who was involved in the altercation has filed suit against him. According to TMZ, Cristofher Pocasangre is suing the rapper for assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress.

The alleged incident took place during the holidays in 2019. This man is claiming that the rapper was physically abusive to him and that he even punched him.

It was captured on security camera and the entire thing was posted online before the alleged victim filed the case and police report.

As a result of the attack, DaBaby was forced to pay thousands in damages as well as for his legal fees. He also allegedly stole valuable kitchenware from the property he was staying at.

    He just can’t stay quiet

The ‘Suge’ rapper has been under fire in the past for physical violence with fans. Back in March of this year, he viciously slapped a female fan who tried to take a photo with him at a nightclub.

He later made a public apology for the incident. He then explained why he was so violent with the fan.

In a statement of damages, The Blast obtained, DaBaby is now liable for more than $2 million in damages. This includes causing mental anguish, infliction of emotional distress and other charges following the December 2019 scuffle.

Cristofher Pocasangre claims he asked DaBaby for a selfie and the ‘Suge’ rapper refused. He went on to take a selfie with him in the background and that didn’t sit well with the rapper.

The ‘Suge’ artist then confronted the man and demanded that he delete the photo. He complied but he says that the encounter escalated when DaBaby followed him into the hotel where he assaulted him.

    More trouble ahead

A judge is set to hear the case in April but DaBaby’s lawyer is pushing it back because of another legal battle that he has with Gary Pager, who is claiming that he punched him in the face when he tried to enforce “basic rental rules” on a home that he was renting to DaBaby.

Despite his claim of self-defense, Pager is seeking $2 million in damages from DaBaby as well. This case stems from an incident in 2021 that supposedly occurred when the plaintiff was trying to enforce “basic rental rules” at a house that he was renting to the ‘Suge’ artist.
