Craig Green x Moncler Genius SS19 Is Future Art

Published

on

Hypebeast

Craig Green has been on my radar for quite some time. After joining forces with Moncler on the first innovative Genius drop, Craig green stunned the world of Milan with the next wave of the Genius collection. Unlike the first collection of quilted pieces and weighty shapes, this one takes cues from sun-beating accessories, like tents and umbrellas.

Craig Green’s newest collection also features a range of color. Olive, yellow, blue and red appear throughout, often presented in multi-colored iterations. Green’s signature dangling strings and loose cuts reappear alongside oversized rives and hoods. Lightweight fabrics grant the generously-cut trousers, zip-up jackets, and tentlike parkas cross-seasonal appeal. Coupled with the oversized, Moncler-branded bags crafted in matching tonal hues, this new collection is wearable art.

Kerby Jean-Raymond, designer of Pyer Moss, debuted his Fall/Winter 2018 collection during New York Fashion Week. Ross wore a plush pink pant suit with black detail.

“American, Also” features patchwork, wide-legged trousers, box-shaped cuts, and defines each article of clothing as unisex. Men and women can get the merchandise by heading over to Reebok’s website. Prices start from $90 USD and up.
