Our hearts and prayers go out to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Yesterday it was revealed that the Teigen suffered a miscarriage. The singer and television personality lost their unborn son after being hospitalized for excessive bleeding. Reports indicate that she underwent several blood transfusions, but it still wasn’t enough to save the baby.
The reality host disclosed that she and John never decide on baby names until after leaving the hospital. However, for an unknown reason the couple started to refer to him as Jack. Chrissy Teigen has always been open about her personal life. She recently detailed her highs and lows on social media.
On August 13, John and Chrissy revealed that they were expecting in his music video, “Wild.” In the world premiere the video shows the two stars embracing each other, while Teigen shows off her growing baby bump.
In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Teigen explains that she found out that she was pregnant after undergoing breast surgery. She disclosed she did her routine pregnancy test before her surgery and it came back negative. The 34-year-old describes taking another pregnancy test on her own a few weeks after the surgery. To her surprise and confusion, the test came back positive. Teigen confesses that she’s always had issues with getting pregnant naturally. Both her children, daughter, Luna, and son, Miles, were conceived through IVF.
As the two continue to grieve for their son, we ask readers to keep them in your prayers and send lots of love their way.
