Addressing The Elephant In The Room

Within the past few years, we have witnessed a lot of changes. Economical, social, and political landscapes have wholly changed. Quarantine is causing a lot of people to see things differently in this country. And Chris Cuomo is one of them. Recently, Cuomo went onto his Sirius XM Radio show and decided to tell people how he felt.

Chris Cuomo Goes

“I don’t like what I do professionally,” “I don’t think it’s worth my time.”

“talking to Democrats about things that I don’t really believe they mean” along with “talking to Republicans about them parroting things they feel they have to say.”

“I don’t want to spend my time doing things that I don’t think are valuable enough to me personally,” He also said. “I don’t value indulging irrationality, hyper-partisanship.”

It is completely understandable why Chris Cuomo would feel this way. We now live in a political climate where we can’t tell who’s being honest anymore. Everything that’s comes out of politician’s mouths now feels preprogrammed and unauthentic. Most people find being lied to their face coarse. Now imagine having that happen to you for a living. This goes to show that money truly does not matter at the end of the day; happiness does. Sometimes it takes a world pandemic to help you realize the essential things in life. But learning this key is all that matters in the end.
