Chris Brown Will Face
FILE - MARCH 14: Singer Chris Brown was arrested for allegedly violating his probation on March 14, 2014 in Malibu, California. He is currently being held without bail. LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 03: R&B singer Chris Brown appears in court for a probation progress hearing on February 3, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. Brown has been on probation since pleading guilty to assaulting his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna, after a pre-Grammy Awards party in 2009. He has been in anger management treatment program and performing community service requirements but failure to meet probation requirements could be even further complicated by assault charges he and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy face stemming from an incident outside the W hotel in Washington D.C. last October. Chris Brown is back in the news. This time for owning a pet monkey!

While some people believe that a dog is a man’s best friend, others, like Chris Brown settle for monkeys. Exotic creatures can be purchased as pets, but not in the United States! Looks like Chris Breezy missed that part of the monkey manual.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office is charging Chris Brown with two counts of owning a restricted species without a permit. This particular violation can carry up to 6 months in jail. if you recall, Brown brought the baby capuchin monkey, by the name of Fiji and allowed his daughter to play with. That also did not go so well!

Now, Brown is being forced to give up the pet monkey after a gang of people reported him to authorities. Now, Brown is due for court on February 6. Hopefully, he will only get hit with a few charges. But, at the moment it ain’t looking too good! From designer lawsuits to failed urine drug tests, Brown remains a villain in the public eye. Hopefully, things will turn around for the crooner. Right?

What do you all think? Should he receive 6 months in jail for a pet monkey? Is this absurd or strictly the law? Please comment below and for more news, keep it locked to!
