Chadwick Boseman, known for his role as T’Challa in Black Panther, is entering the arena again. This time, he’s in the company of Spike Lee.
Page Six reports that the two have come together in a newly inked deal with Netflix to create a new hit-film. With the wishes of Lee, Boseman is joining the film’s cast, along with Delroy Lindo and Jean Reno. However, there is no release date, however, there is a title that’s been shared.
Da 5 Bloods will take audience members on a trip back to Vietnam, as five veteran soldiers search for their livelihood. According to the publication, the film will focus on a story of redemption and triumph.
A group of vets who attempt to put their broken selves back together in a story about the redemption of one’s soul.
Last year, Boseman starred in Black Panther. It became a box office hit and one that the actor found personally inspiring. As he accepted an award for Best Film Ensemble, he cherished his role as T’Challa.
