Cardi B was served with papers on her way to do business!
The rapper was seen entering a building, where she was getting ready for her next big endeavor. Soon to come, Cardi will be a feature judge in Netflix’s hip-hop reality series.
Just as she finishes talking to a crowd of reporters, a hand outstretches from the crowd, before she could make it to the set for Rhythm + Flow. Very quickly, Cardi grabs the papers before heading in.
HotNewHipHop reports that she was served papers regarding an incident that took place during the 2018 Met Gala.
Giovanni Arnold say’s he waited to serve her because she was “seven months pregnant at the time of the assault and, out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s wellbeing, as well as that of her finance, Offset, I chose not to immediately serve the couple.” But Arnold claims the two rappers have been avoiding the situation long enough.
Just before she takes the papers, Cardi is heard talking to the paparazzi hanging outside of Sound of Brazil’s venue. She’s heard telling them to make sure they touch-up her photos before posting them to the media.
Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow will be television competition-show dedicated to finding hip-hops newest breakout star. Other judges to be included will be T.I., and Chance the Rapper. The show’s production is currently in progress.
