Cardi B got her fans big mad, but she did what she had to do. And if they knew why, they’d understand.
Which is why Cardi B penned an open letter to her fans, apologizing for canceling her show. It is believed that Cardi B canceled concert is because of safety concerns. The entertainment world has been cautious since the killing of Nipsey Hussle.
Cardi B had to cancel her concert in Indianapolis on Tuesday. And before you get to guessing, don’t think it’s because she had a diva moment. Trust us, there were no issues with her wardrobe, quality of sound, or wrong hand soap bought for the bathroom…nah, none of that.
“Dear Indiana I just want to let you know I was in the venue today .I rehearsed and started doing glam.Due to a security threat that is under investigation the show was canceled. My safety and your safety first .I want to thank the promoters we have already rescheduled the show. Im so sorry guys I never dealt with a situation like this before and I’m not taking any chances.I love you guys.”
The rapper canceled the show, because her safety, as well as others, was in jeopardy. And after all of the school shootings, church, shootings, and even a garlic fest shooting, no one should want to find themselves in that same danger. Take for instance Ariana Grande’s concert in manchester. Someone bombed the place, and people, Ariana included, are still recovering.
Indianapolis, shared this message, backing up Cardi’s story.
“This evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life. We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening’s concert – there is no immediate threat to public safety, this not an active incident. Ongoing investigation.”
Cardi’s show will be rescheduled for September 11, says TMZ.
