Cardi B and Travis Scott Announced as ‘Made in America’ Headliners

2018 Jeff Kravitz

Cardi B and Travis Scott are circling back to Philadelphia to headline a concert.

The Made in America festival will see Cardi B and Travis Scott as headliners, as addressed by Live Nation and Rock Nation. They sent the announcement out on Tuesday, via a Twitter post.

Overall, this will be the eighth consecutive year that festival takes over Philadelphia’s the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, despite efforts to move it. And scheduled for Aug. 31-Sept. 1, Labor Day weekend, it’s bound to catch a lot of heavy traffic.

Joining Cardi B and Scott are a number of other artists. On the lineup, festival attendees can expect to see Juice WRLD, Jorja Smith, Blueface, Kodak Black, Bazzi, and many more. And according to Page Six, tickets for the Labor Day event will be going on sale this friday. However, members of Jay-Z’s streaming service, Tidal, presale tickets are available now.

Above all, recently it was announced that Cardi B and J0lo will be teaming up as scheming strippers in the movie “Hustlers”. This news comes right after negative news got out about her. As a result, an old video surfaced about Cardi drugging and rob men for money. Hence her past is long behind her, at least for now. Seems like Cardi may want to watch what she says over the next several months.  Furthermore, more acts are currently being added to the lineup. As for now, the list seems pretty solid.

In conclusion, what are your thoughts? Will you be purchasing tickets to this year’s Made in America? If so, who are you excited to see? Let us know, by dropping a comment.
