BRYANT had a chat with us and answered our three distinctive Questions. Check it out below.
HYPEFRESH: Let’s start by introducing ourselves. You know the basics, like name, age, and where you’re from, as much or little as you’re comfortable sharing.
BRYANT: Hi, my name is BRYANT. I’m a singer-songwriter, musician, dancer, and choreographer from Philadelphia, Pa, and I’m 19. I am now entering my second year of college as a Musical Theatre Major and a Songwriting Minor.
HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Criminal”?
BRYANT: “Criminal” is a song about how I fell in love with a Criminal. He treated me kindly, lovingly, and amazingly zingy, but it worsened.
He started to pull away, and I needed to leave that alone and focus on myself. So I wrote this song as a reminder that I was in love with one, but I no longer can be with him. For this song, I was so happy that my friend Sariud had hoped for this song.
He made it complete, to be honest. And he allowed me to showcase my sexuality in a piece that a straight artist and a gay artist can be expected, even with different backgrounds of the genre.
HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
BRYANT: I like to be able to touch people with my Music. I want to leave an impact. Like the song Beyonce’s – I Was Here. It’s such a fantastic song that it made me want to leave a legacy. I want everyone in the world to listen to my Music and be able to welcome and loved without feeling judged. There are all kinds of Music for everyone in the catalog.
