Bruno Mars is back in full effect with a brand new funky sound “24K Magic,“ his first single in four years. After trolling his fans for a week on social media, the 30-year-old musician released the song and music video overnight saying, “You can call it my first single,” Mars said, “but I call it the invitation to the party.”
“24K Magic” was written and produced by Shampoo Press & Curl, with additional production by The Stereotypes. Bruno’s third studio album—also titled 24K Magic—will come out Nov. 18. Bruno and Cameron Duddy also co-directed the music video, filmed in Vegas at the Fountains of Bellagio. This video brings you the happy and energetic side of spending all of you money at the casino.

Mars co-wrote, co-produced and sang on Mark Ronson’s 2015 smash “Uptown Funk,” which became the year’s biggest single with 14 weeks at Number One. Bruno also co-wrote and co-produced Adele’s 25 track “All I Ask” (which managed to crack the Billboard charts, despite not being issued as an official single) and performed at both the 2014 and 2016 Super Bowl Half Time shows. So you can say that Bruno has been the groundhog that didn’t see his shadow for about 4 years later, giving us this summer sounding banger in the dreary fall.
The singer will head to Saturday Night Live for his fourth appearance on October 15th.
