Noah Gönci is an outstanding artist who loves creating unique, chill, and moody music from the comfort of his bedroom. Consumed by happiness and love, he was inspired to write this song from an exciting experience that took place in his life, and this was when he and his long-distance girlfriend moved and started staying together.

Noah Gönci’s “Lover’ displays his ability to assemble romantic connections utilizing his silky vocals and nicely structured instrumentation that makes you sit back and unwind while cuddling with your partner. Noah Gönci, a prominent household name, intends to turn the whole world into a love zone with this hit song.

Noah Gönci talked with us and answered our specific 8 Questions. Check it out below.

HYPEFRESH: So tell us, how did it all begin? What encouraged you to start playing and making music?

Noah: I started playing music when I was a kid, probably around ten. I loved watching music videos, and I loved the sound of tension between a melody and a chord progression. I liked Cage the Elephant, Green Day, and Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas. I got a Fender Starcaster from Craigslist and started taking guitar lessons in the next town.

HYPEFRESH: Talk me through your creative process when you write new music.

Noah: When I write, I usually start with a chord progression to have a basis for the rest of the song. Then I come up with a melody as a theme for the music, and the rest comes on its own. However, for this song, I came up with the bassline first and then the drum pattern. It sounded like it could’ve been a Khruangbin song, so that’s what I aimed for the rest of the song.

HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Lovers”?

Noah: “Lovers” is about a time in my life when I was long-distance with my girlfriend, and then we decided to move in together and close the distance between us. I would drive from Boston to New York every other week for about two months to be with her. It was a very dreamy, in-between part of my life, so I tried to capture that through the sound choice and the flute melody.

HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?

    Noah: It’s pretty fun!

HYPEFRESH: What projects do you have coming up? Can you give us any info on them?

Noah: I have a single coming out on December 9th. It’s called “Things Are Not the Same.” It’s more indie rock with a quarter-note feel, and I am excited to release it.

HYPEFRESH: Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to enter the game of music?

Noah: My advice is to keep making things, especially if you feel they could be better. Also, I highly recommend YouTube videos. I’ve learned everything I know about production, mixing, and mastering from YouTube. My first songs are hard to listen to, but I’ve learned much from my mistakes.

HYPEFRESH: How do you solve productivity/scheduling problems and reduce overwhelming situations?

Noah: When I feel overwhelmed, I usually listen to my sad music playlist and take a break from whatever I do. Making music is my hobby right now, so I do it at every chance.

HYPEFRESH: Name Three things you can’t live without when recording in the studio.

Noah: I can’t live without my acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and shakers.
