Crowds of People Are Dying to Take a Flick At The Home In “Bird Box”

Bird Box has caused quite the commotion since its release on Dec.13.

Like the hot/cold game, the film has viewers seeking out some of the locations the film was shot at. And some people have even gotten really warm because the house where Sandra Bullock’s character and other seek shelter has been discovered.

Just 20 miles northeast of  Los Angeles, in Monrovia, sits the home where most of the film occurs.

The owner of the home says that countless groups of people have come to take pictures in front. But despite the lack of privacy these days, the owner isn’t bothered by all the attention. After all, it’s not her first rodeo. According to TMZ, her home has been used in at least three other Hollywood films, so it makes her a seasoned pro.

The owner was offered $12k as compensation for using her home as a backdrop. That’s a pretty penny, for someone who hasn’t even watched Bird Box. TMZ also reports that owner of the home doesn’t have Netflix.

We guess she’ll never see what all the hype is about.
