Billie Eilish and Lizzo

Grammy Newcomers Billie Eilish and Lizzo Join Legendary Group Of Grammy Performers!!

Billie Eilish and Lizzo will make their Grammy Stage debuts at the 62nd Grammy Awards. The breakout stars of last year are joined by Aerosmith, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.

Both Billie Eilish and Lizzo had big years in 2019 and are up for some big awards respectively. The two singers are competing for multiple awards including Album of the year and best new artist of the year.

Lizzo has the most Grammy nominations of 2020 with 8 in her first year as a Grammy nominee. Her track “Truth hurts” is up for record of the year, best pop solo performance and song of the year.

Eilish is up for quite a few awards herself, as her song “Bad Guy” is up for the same awards as ” Truth hurts”.

While 2019 has brought both singers much success, it wasn’t without drama for either of the young stars.

One of the biggest trending topics on Twitter this year was ” Billie Eilish boobs”. This came after a picture of the then 17 year old in a tank top was shared on social media. Ironically the star has been adamant about wearing bagging clothes to prevent being sexualized.

Lizzo, on the other hand, caught heat for being too sexual. Towards the end of the year, the singer was captured twerking in a thong while at a Lakers game. Twitter had both negative and positive feedback but I guess the negative got to Lizzo more. She announced she was leaving social media all together shortly after the new year began.

Billie Eilish And Lizzo-1 The grammy’s should be a positive experience for both young performers. They will grace the same stage as music legends like Aerosmith, who are being honored with 2020 MusiCares person of the year award. Another bonus from this year’s grammy’s is Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will be performing for the first time together as a couple.

The 62nd Grammy’s will take place Live from the staples center January, 26th 2020.

What are you guys looking forward to most from this year’s Grammy’s?
