The star still receives high praise for his musical contributions that are still very relevant to this day. Born Christopher Wallace, the artist leaves behind hits like, “Ready to Die” and “Life After Death” that will be a part of Friday’s show. According to ABC7, instrumentalist-composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and The Originals will present the score. This will be a divine honor for Atwood as he knows how special Biggie Smalls is to his fans.

“Even before I started performing Hip-Hop music, I would be arranging it and rehearsing it with my friends. When I think of Biggie, I think of someone who means so much to so many people”, says Atwood.

Fans will be able to experience a new way to celebrate their favorite songs by Wallace on Friday. The Estate of The Notorious B.I.G. will be in support of The Lincoln Center premiere, featuring special guests. There will also be an exclusive live set from regular collaborators.

According to Yahoo, the orchestral commemoration will be part of the “Summer for the City” program.

Born a New York native, the rapper would totally reinvent East Coast rap with street savvy lyrics. His unique sound could still be compared to West Coast G-Funk, summoning rivalry between the two coasts.

Adopting his label home, Bad Boy Records, the rapper joins Ceo Sean “Puffy” Combs. According to Biography, following his debut album, Ready to Die, the album would go certified gold in only two months. The following year, the album would go double-platinum and eventually quadruple-platinum.

The following album would be part with Junior Mafia including mentees, Lil Kim and Lil Cease.
