Big Ten Conference Expected to Cancel Football Season

Big Ten Conference Will Likely Cancel Football Season

According to the Detriot Free Press, this past Saturday, the Big Ten Conference voted to cancel the 2020 season of college sports. This comes as a major deal because the Big Ten has been one of the most prominent college football conferences for decades now. The Big Ten is home to several talented teams including Penn State, Ohio State, and Migichan Sate among others.

There is the possibility of the conference resuming sports in the spring, but there are still several logistical aspects to figure out until then.

    Opinions From Around the NCAA

The Big Ten is not the only conference considering canceling the 2020 season. The Dan Patrick Show reported that the Pac 12 will be doing the same thing, and it possible that the ACC and the Big 12 will follow.

Not everyone feels this way though. Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh is ready for the season to start along with Clemson’s starting QB Trevor Lawrence. Like usual our President’s priorities are on the right page during a global pandemic.

I can definitely see where colegic athletes and coaches are coming from, but believe that Trump should be focused on more pressing issues. Instead, he would prefer to spend his time on Twitter.

    Final Thoughts
